Elon Musk Expresses Outrage Over Big Tech “Laptop From Hell” Censorship

Twitter’s new owner isn’t happy about the widescale suppression of arguably one of the biggest news stories from 2020, the Hunter Biden “Laptop From Hell” bombshell, which was systematically censored by Big Tech operatives seeking to give Joe Biden an advantage during the presidential race against Donald Trump.

The American public watched as every social media platform began a massive memory-hole campaign to actively silence news organizations and individuals who dare report on the “Laptop From Hell” debacle. It was truly one of the greatest scandals of the 2020 presidential election and just one of a handful of examples of collusion between the Democrat Party and Big Tech operatives.

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and Twitter’s proud new owner, finds the censorship of the Hunter Biden story “incredibly inappropriate” as he continues a crusade to bring free speech back to social media.

On Tuesday, the World’s Richest Man commented on a tweet about a Politico report on a lawyer working for Twitter, Vijaya Gadde, whose team decides how to moderate content. The report revealed Gadde’s despair of Musk’s purchase, even crying during a staff meeting.

Musk responded to the report with a tweet that provides a major clue as to how the social media platform will be run under his leadership…

Vijaya Gadde is known as the “top censorship advocate at Twitter.”

She famously appeared on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast to address accusations about Twitter’s censorship practices. Gadde essentially gaslit Rogan’s audience as she continued to claim Twitter did not use unfair censorship practices based on ideology.

Details about Biden’s business dealings and personal life have emerged in the media thanks to copies of a laptop and hard drive. The FBI took possession of the actual hardware after the owner, believed to be Biden, left it for repairs at a shop in Delaware in April 2019 and never returned. Copies were made and spread across the media landscape, and the New York Post led the charge in reporting on the contents of the laptop that is believed to have belonged to the president’s son.

When the New York Post attempted to post the articles on its Twitter account, the social media company claimed it violated its rule against sharing “hacked” materials. In fact, Twitter and Facebook limited users from sharing it for a time. Twitter locked the New York Post out of its account Oct. 14, 2020, in a standoff that lasted roughly two weeks.

Twitter co-founder and former CEO called the New York Post censorship initiative a “mistake.”

Meanwhile, establishment news organizations have begun authenticating the contents of Hunter’s laptop reported on by the New York Post, much to the chagrin of the Biden administration.

Biden’s financial affairs, including business dealings tied to countries such as Ukraine, China, and Russia, are under scrutiny in a federal criminal investigation. Biden has never publicly denied that the laptop belonged to him but has insisted he is “100% certain” he will be cleared of wrongdoing.

Musk has provided zero indication of the concrete changes he plans to make at Twitter besides the honoring of free speech as written in U.S. law.

However, with this repudiation of the “Laptop From Hell” censorship, it’s fair to assume that Musk will never allow Twitter to be used as a tool for political manipulation ever again.
