America First Lawmaker Seeks To Stop Biden’s ‘Illegal’ Dumping For Good

Not until more Republican lawmakers put immense pressure on the Biden regime and force them to stop the importation of illegals from the world’s poorest countries in order to increase their voter base will there be any changes to the immigration system we live under today.

One brave Republican, Rep. Mo Brooks, is doing just that.

This week he introduced a bill that would give state officials the power to stop the U.S. federal government from relocating illegal aliens into their states.

The bill, dubbed the “Local Control Act,” would expand the Immigration and Nationality Act by adding a new section that would “plainly state that illegal aliens could not be settled into a state 1) without the approval of the governor and 2) could not be placed into any locality in the state if that locality has a law or policy in effect disapproving of illegal alien resettlement in that area.”

Brooks’ proposal would work by banning federal funds from being used to “transport, house, or resettle any alien without lawful status under the immigration laws within a State without the approval of the Governor of the State.”

“I believe in empowering governors and local elected officials to defend their states and communities since Joe Biden has proven incapable or unwilling to do his duty,” Brooks said in a statement.

“Reports indicate that illegal aliens are being driven in unmarked white vans and being flown into communities in the dark of night by the Biden Administration. Recently, unvetted Afghan evacuees were placed in Alabama without any Alabamian’s consent. Americans shouldn’t be put at risk of terrorism, illegal alien crime, job losses, wage suppression, or any other number of things by a lawless presidential administration that is dead set on weakening America.”

Brooks’ bill was endorsed by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), an organization that promotes border security and stands against illegal immigration.

The Biden administration’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released new data this week showing that nearly 50,000 illegal immigrants who were told to report to an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) office between March and August have disappeared.

The Biden administration began using the Notice to Report process in March as a result of a dramatic spike in migrant apprehensions at the southern border in the initial days of the administration. The process is quicker and easier than the Notice to Appear (NTA) process, in which migrants are given a time and date for their immigration hearing.

The NTR process allows migrants to be processed into the interior within as little as 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, illegals are exempt from the same forced medical treatments as Americans and have been given full welfare benefits using COVID as a justification.
