Trump Keeps ‘Close Tabs’ On Fake News Operatives

Recent reports are emerging that the Department of Justice under Former President Trump kept close phone records on a number of journalist known to report purposely fallacious, unsubstantiated stories about Trump and his advisers.

Biden’s Justice Department blew the cover on Trump’s investigation. The reporters in question are: Matt Apuzzo, Adam Goldman, Eric Lichtblau, and Michael S. Schmidt. Apparently their phone records were seized as part of the DOJ inquiry.

Back in May, CNN broke the story that Trump was seeking a possible criminal investigation against libelous reporters that routinely and admittedly print news stories with out any basis in reality. Email records were also obtained in 2017 from Pentagon correspondent Barbara Starr.

The Biden administration of course has railed against Trump’s effort to stamp out false reporting. Easy for him to say given the recent statistic that shows the media has never been more lenient on a modern day president in over 40 years.

“Joe Biden said this sort of interference with a free press will not be tolerated in his administration. We expect the Department of Justice to explain why this action was taken and what steps are being taken to make certain it does not happen again in the future.”

This outrage from Biden’s White House is laughable as the current administration continues to bolster its spy efforts on private American citizens through the Patriot Act and other legislative measures heavily supported by top Democrat leaders.

The newspaper speculated that the leak probe related to classified information reported in an April 22, 2017, article the four Times journalists wrote about how James Comey, then the FBI director, handled politically charged investigations during the 2016 presidential election.
