Congresswoman, ‘Squad’ Democrat, and socialist Ilhan Omar is catching heat for slamming Israel after they fired air strikes into the Gaza strip in retaliation for Palestinian missile attacks. The radical Muslim lawmaker called the defensive attacks “an act of terrorism.”
“It’s unconscionable to not condemn these attacks on the week of Eid.”
Omar balked at the controversy she received from conservatives and doubled down on her accusations of Israeli terrorism.
Fellow socialist and “Squad” member Rep. Rashida Tlaib also spoke out against Israel’s retaliatory attacks.
Hamas launched more than a dozen missiles into Israel on Monday – a holy holiday for in the country. Yom Yerushalyim is celebrated by the Jews for taking back Jerusalem during the Six-Day War in 1967.
According to reports, the Israeli army launched the airstrikes in response to Hamas’ attacks.
Omar has made numerous anti-Semitic comments in the past.
She refused to acknowledge it was in fact muslim terrorists who attacked the World Trade Center during 9/11, instead saying, “some people did something.”
Her anti-Israel remarks abound as well, calling America’s ally “non-democratic” and “racist.”
“Most of the things that have always been aggravating to me is that we have had a policy that makes one superior to the other and we mask it with a conversation that’s about justice and a two-state solution when you have policies that clearly prioritize one over the other,” Omar responded.
