The Biden administration is being sued by A white Wisconsin dairy farmer, claiming that the president’s coronavirus relief plan is “racist.”
A disabled farmer named Adam Faust sued the administration over the terms of the American Rescue Plan, which provides aid to “socially disadvantaged” farmers. Faust alleges that since since he is not considered “socially disadvantaged” because of the color of his skin, he was unable to receive the much-needed relief for his disability.
“Because plaintiffs are ineligible to even apply for the program solely due to their race, they have been denied the equal protection of the law and therefore suffered harm.”
The farmer declared Biden’s plan “out and out racist” on Fox News.
“I really don’t think that there should be racism allowed in the federal government at any level!” he said.
The Department of Justice did not respond to a request for comment, but did reveal they were reviewing the clause for further review. However, it’s been suggested that “socially disadvantaged” will remain the racist standard for Biden’s plan.
